Sydnee Starter Guide
Learn the basics of Sydnee, customize your portal, and onboard your first client with confidence.
New tools can feel like a lot at first. This guide walks through portal setup and your first client, one step at a time.
Follow the steps in order. By the end, you will know where to start and what to do next.
What this starter guide covers
- Understand accounts – learn how Sydnee groups work for each client.
- Brand your portal – add your logo, colors, and company details.
- Explore your portal tools – learn about tasks, files, requests, chat, services, and more.
- Invite your first client – add an account, set it up, and send an invite.
Why use a client portal?
A client portal gives each client one place to work with your team. You can:
- Store files and project details so clients can find them later without asking your team.
- Showcase your services inside the portal so returning clients can reach out when they are ready.
- Keep team and client conversations together with live chat instead of searching through email threads.
- Use task boards to plan client work. In a board's Overview, your team can post a status update such as On Track or At Risk. You decide whether clients can see the Overview.
- Send requests to collect files or information, so clients can upload what you need without back-and-forth emails.
This guide is the first step toward making Sydnee the home base for your clients.
