Keeping client files organized should not require extra tools or manual folder sorting. In Sydnee, you can upload images, videos, PDFs, and any file type directly into a task, then save everything to your Portal File Manager with one click.
Here’s how the process works. You can watch the short walkthrough above or follow along with the written steps below.
Upload Files to Any Task
Start in the Task Center and open any task. Inside the task, you’ll see an Attach Files button.
You can upload files in two ways:
- Click the attach button to select files from your computer
- Drag and drop files directly into the task
Once uploaded, each file appears inside the task with a preview. You can click a file to open it full screen and confirm everything looks correct before moving on.
Preview and Manage Task Files
Every file attached to a task includes additional options. By clicking the three-dot menu on a file, you can:
- Download the file
- Delete it from the task
- Save it directly to your File Manager
This gives you control over how files are stored and accessed without leaving the task view.
Save Task Files to Your File Manager
The most useful part of this workflow is the Save to Portal File Manager option.
When you select it, Sydnee automatically:
- Creates a Task Files folder in your File Manager
- Adds a subfolder tied to the specific task
- Places your uploaded files inside that task folder
There’s no need to manually create folders or organize files later. Everything stays connected to the task it came from, making it easy to find files when you need them.
A Simpler Way to Manage Client Files
By uploading files directly to tasks and organizing them automatically, Sydnee helps reduce clutter and extra steps in your workflow. Files live where the work happens, and your File Manager stays clean without additional effort.
This small feature can make a big difference if you manage multiple clients or projects and want everything clearly organized in one place.
