We’ve shipped a major round of updates focused on making tasks more flexible, faster to work with, and easier to customize.
The headline feature is our new Kanban view, but this release also includes meaningful improvements to task editing, default views, affiliate tools, and overall platform polish.
Kanban View
Tasks now support a full Kanban view, giving teams a visual, drag-and-drop way to manage work and track progress at a glance.
Each column can display progress in the way that’s most helpful to you:
- Total open tasks
- Completed vs. total tasks
- Percentage complete
Columns can also be customized with 10 different color options, making it easier to visually group work or highlight key stages.
Subtasks are now visible and actionable directly on each card, so you can complete work without drilling into a sidebar.
Creating tasks and sections is also more flexible than ever:
- Drag an existing card to instantly create a new section
- Use the plus arrow at the top of a section to add work
- Create tasks from the button at the bottom of each section
Default Task View
You can now choose which task view loads by default on a per-account basis. Whether you prefer List, Due Date, or Kanban (Board), Sydnee will remember your choice and open tasks exactly how you want to see them.
Faster Task Editing (All Views)
Across all task views, you can now update assignees and due dates inline—without opening the task sidebar—making quick updates significantly faster.
Affiliate Updates
We’ve rolled out an updated Affiliate Resources Page to make sharing Sydnee easier, and enabled the “Earn $20” button on the home dashboard so referral tools are always easy to find.
Fixes & Improvements
Alongside new features, we’ve shipped several polish and reliability improvements:
- Fixed issues with the Sydnee favicon over riding a custom set favicon
- Improved text formatting (-> now automatically converts to → in tasks)
- Added access to Request Templates without requiring an active request
- Fixed deleting task attachments
- Fixed file transfers when opening tasks from Activity or My Tasks
- Set a default memo pad which auto populates on every new account
