Check your app version before troubleshooting

Check for Sydnee updates, reload an older tab, and find the version and build to share with support.

When something in the team app is not working as expected, first check App version in Personal Settings → Security & access. An open tab may be running an older build of Sydnee.

This check is for signed-in team members, including owners and admins. Clients do not see these Personal Settings in your branded portal.

Before you start

Save your work or copy any unsent text before leaving the page. Let uploads finish. The Update button reloads the tab, which can clear unsaved work.

Check for updates

  1. Open Personal Settings → Security & access → App version. App version is at the bottom of the page.
  2. Select Check for updates and wait for the check to finish.
  3. If you see Update available, select Update once your work is safe. The tab reloads to get the latest build.
  4. Return to the task and check whether the problem still occurs.

You can also search for App version in Personal Settings.

If the problem continues

Use the guide that matches the problem:

If you still need help, open Help & Support. Include the Version / build values, any error shown, what you tried, what you expected, and when it happened. Keep passwords, sign-in codes, and private client content out of your message.
