Service Showcase overview

Learn how your service catalog, client details, and service requests fit together.

Service Showcase gives clients a clear view of what you do for them and what else you offer. Your team keeps one service catalog, then sets up the right services and details for each client account.

Start with a client account

Open Service Showcase in the team workspace. If you see Select an account to manage services, choose a client account from the sidebar.

You need access to that account. Service Showcase also needs to be on for the workspace. An owner or admin can check Company Settings → Features if it is unavailable.

How does the catalog work?

Build your list once

Group related services and add a short description for each one. The service names, descriptions, and detail-field names are shared across client accounts.

For example, a bookkeeping firm might have a Monthly bookkeeping service with fields for the fee and the date records are due. Each client can have a different fee and date.

Build and organize your catalog.

Choose what each client uses

Turn on the services the client receives now. A service can be active for one account and inactive for another.

An inactive service stays in the full catalog so the client can learn about it. Turning a service on or off records its status for that account. It does not charge the client or start a paid subscription.

Keep useful details with the service

Add the current account's dates, amounts, reference numbers, or links. Clients read filled-in values through Your Info on an active service. Blank values stay hidden.

Clients can read and copy these details. Your team manages the values.

What can clients do?

Clients open Services in your branded portal. The buttons depend on the service and your settings:

ButtonWhen it can appearWhat it does
Your InfoThe service is active and has filled-in details.Opens that client's service details.
Learn MoreThe service is inactive and has an enabled web link.Opens the page you chose to explain the offering.
Submit TicketThe service is active and Active Service Tickets are available and on.Lets the client send work for a service they use.
Request ServiceThe service is inactive and Service Requests are available.Lets the client ask about an offering they do not use yet.

Clients can browse the catalog and use the shown actions. They cannot change service names, switch services on, or edit their detail values.

Where does a request go?

A submitted ticket or service request becomes a task in the same client account.

You can choose a default assignee for each service and a different person for a specific account. Sydnee checks that the chosen person is active and has account access. If needed, it uses an active workspace owner with access.

Choose the task board and request assignee.

Check the client view

Open the account's Services page and turn on Preview as Client. Check the active services, filled-in details, web links, and request buttons before you share the portal.

This helps you keep current work clear, put client facts beside the right service, and give clients a way to ask about other offerings.
