Build and organize your service catalog

Create service groups, add client-ready services, and control their order from a client account.

Build the shared Service Showcase catalog from any client account's Services page. Changes to service groups, service names, descriptions, and detail-field names affect the shared catalog.

Before you start

  • You need team access to a client account.
  • Service Showcase must be on in workspace settings.
  • Account-level catalog management is available to all current accounts and plans.
  • The workspace-wide Services hub is a separate feature and may not be available.

Create the first catalog

If the workspace has no catalog, the Create Your Service Catalog form opens.

  1. Enter at least one service you offer. You can enter up to 20 services.
  2. Put one service in each field.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. Wait for Sydnee to create and save the starting catalog.

Sydnee groups the services and drafts short descriptions and client detail fields. Only the services you enter are added. Each generated service starts inactive for the current account.

There is no second publish step. Review the result as soon as it loads.

Add another service group

Use a service group for related services.

  1. Select New service group.
  2. Enter 1 to 10 related services.
  3. Select Create service group.
  4. Review the group name, service descriptions, and detail fields Sydnee creates.

To change a group, open its three-dot menu and select Edit Service Group. A group name and description are shared across accounts.

Add one service yourself

  1. Open the service group.
  2. Select Add service.
  3. Enter the Service name and Service description.
  4. Turn on Learn more button if an inactive service should link to another page.
  5. Enter a full http:// or https:// address for Button URL.
  6. Select Add service.

A new service starts inactive for the current client account. Activate it only after its account details are ready.

Change catalog order

Drag service groups to change their order. Drag a service inside its group to change the service order. The client portal uses this same order.

Wait for the success message. If a save fails, Sydnee reloads the last saved order. Try the move again after the page settles.

Edit or remove catalog items

Select a service row to open Service settings. You can change its client-facing name, description, and Learn More link.

Deleting a service removes it and its detail values across all accounts. Deleting a detail field also removes that field's values across all accounts. Confirm the scope before you delete either item.

The standard customer page does not include a Unified Editor or Bulk Editor. Use the service group, service, and detail controls described above.

What your client sees

Clients see the saved service groups and services in portal order. They do not see the editing controls. Active and inactive services have different details and actions.

Use Preview as Client to check the result.

Fix a common problem

The setup form does not appear: your workspace already has a catalog. Use New service group or add a service inside an existing group.

The catalog is missing: confirm Service Showcase is on in Company Settings → Portal features and that you opened a client account's Services page.

Bulk editing is not available: the service catalog does not include a Unified Editor or Bulk Editor.

The AI draft needs changes: edit the saved group, service, and detail names. The draft is a starting point, not a final promise to clients.
