Review and end client portal sessions

Find valid client sign-ins and end one session or all client sessions.

Valid Client Sessions shows sign-ins that can still open your branded portal. Owners and admins can see this company list, even if they do not work in every client account.

A listed sign-in can still be used. It does not mean the client is online now. Last active shows the last saved portal use. Older rows may say Not recorded.

Find a session

  1. Open Company Settings → Client Portal Security.
  2. Select Sessions manager.
  3. Search for the client or choose an account to narrow the list.
  4. Check the sign-in time, last use, device, and end time when shown.

The account filter finds sign-ins that can open that account. One sign-in may open other accounts tied to the same email. A country shown here is a guess based on the network used.

End one client session

Ending one session signs the client out of that session. Check the email and row before you end it. The client can ask for a new code to sign in again.

  1. In Sessions manager, find the session.
  2. Select End session for that row.
  3. Review the confirmation and continue to verification.
  4. Use the code asked for on the page. It may come from an app, a backup code, or email.

The sign-in ends after the check. The client’s other valid sign-ins stay in place unless a rule ends them.

End all client sessions

Ending all client sessions signs out every client. This includes sign-ins outside your search or filter. To remove one sign-in, end only that row.

Only the company owner can select End All Client Sessions. Review the prompt and use the code asked for. Clients can ask for a new login code after this.

Fix a common problem

If the list fails to load, select Retry. No sessions match these filters means the search found none. Select Clear filters to see the full list. No valid client sessions means there are none to show.

If a sign-in has already ended, refresh the list. If the code check expires, start again. If End All Client Sessions is not shown, ask the company owner to use it.
